Background of Spiritual Life in Christ (SLIC) Organization
The registered Trustees of Spiritual Life in
Christ (SLIC) is a registered Non – Governmental Organization working to
promote socio – economic development in Tanzania. It was established in 2002
and attained its registration on 22nd October, 2002 under CAP 375
under the Ministry of Home Affairs. As formalized legally entity SLIC is
mandated to work and operate in the geographical area of Tanzania mainland.
2. ORGANIZATIONAL TARGETS
2.1
Vision
To see the community in succeeding in
both spiritually and physically.
2.2
Mission
To make sure the community is developing
in all aspects through the concept of spiritual and physical life regardless of
race, religion, sex, age, ethnicity and all form of segregation.
3. ORGANIZATION CORE VALUES
To achieve the vision and mission, SLIC is devoted to ensure the
following values are an integral part of their life during the programmes
implementation. The commitment to these values is the consensus by SLIC members who have resolved to
abide by the same. Therefore our core values are:-

stakeholders.
3. Striving to achieve and maintain transparency in
discharging our programs/projects to the society.

1. To employ national workers to establish orphanages and car
and orphans
2. To seek for funds and establishing training and
educational centres
3. To establish social projects
4. To maintain assistance charitable programs and children’s and
human rights projects
5. To offer ministerial , theological, relief seminars and
workshop among people of Tanzania
6. To promote cooperation
, fellowship and services among people of Tanzania (Women, Youth, Widows and
Orphans)
7. To subscribe and cooperate
with any society or organization having similar objectives and goals
8. To promote and present the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
throughout Tanzania and outside Tanzania spiritually, physically and mentally.
9. To pay
special attention to the needs and rights of youths, children and women
10. To
organize forums, seminars, workshops for development issues
11. To stop
HIV/AIDS infection from mother to child
12. To assure
the Government is accountable
13. Promote
good morals in the society
14. To fight
against STD’s and other diseases that affect the cummunities
15. To
solicit funds to establish social and economic projects for the general public
16. To create
awareness to environmental sustainability through conservation and management
of natural resources.
17. The
organization may undertake any income generating activities for profit which
shall be used to fund other organization’s programmers.
5. OUR
KEY CUSTOMERS
We
can work with Religious institutions (Faith based organization), Tobacco
companies Primary societies in agribusiness works, Government authorities,
Construction companies, Health authorities, Environment stakeholders,
entrepreneurs groups, Agriculture sectors and Real-estate agencies and
Investors.
